Happy Handcrafts designs are inspired by the art of the Ndebele Tribe who live in the Northern Province in South Africa. The Ndebele are best known for their strikingly decorated homes.
Our leather crafts are entirely hand painted and as such each item has a unique character and no two items are exactly alike.
We intend maintaining the hand-made nature of our crafts and we therefore have no intention of modernizing the production method.
Happy handcrafts have created much needed employment by promoting an art that is truly South African and makes a unique and original gift.
